2014 marked a turning point for Cefic’s Long-range Research Initiative (LRI) programme, with the launch of its new website, designed by Generis. The new simplified design, intuitive navigation and advanced search tool ensures easy access to the rich resources that the programme has to offer to the scientific, policy, media and business communities.
These include its Innovative Science Award for early career scientists, its funding opportunities for researchers interested in investigating the impact of chemicals on human health and the environment and its repository of scientific publications and tools developed by LRI-funded research.
The new website gives LRI a fresh new look and visual identity that is more up-to-date and helps to showcase this unique European initiative for innovative scientific research which was established in 1999.
The Long-range Research Initiative (LRI) is part of Cefic’s voluntary initiatives to improve the regulatory framework of the chemical industry in Europe. Its mission is to identify and fill gaps in our understanding of the hazards posed by chemicals and to improve the methods available for assessing the associated risks.
